 It was a very long wait at the police station. We were meant to deal with various stressful protocols. I became so restless particularly as I was aware of the fact that time was no more on our side. I realize d that, the Thanks giving service might have been drawing to an end. After more protocols here and there, we were finally asked to see the Boss in charge!
One would best describe the entire process as a great ordeal. Coming out of that station set more demand on me than I had ever expected. As I carried the baby on my arms, I soon realized that indeed, I was being faced with  'True life' situation of now being a mother! You want to know what the police said to me!? Hahahahaha....

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks.
