DEAR MOTHER MY HUSBAND JUST. ..    (The cry of an ABUSED WOMAN) Written by E PLUS The Storyteller. As I lay on my bed, my heart is filled with so many thoughts and uncertainty. So many things you've said to me that seems to make a whole lot of sense now. As i reflect, it all seems like yesterday, when you sat next to me. Hmmm! Your motherly fragrance! How can I forget?......It never fails to register its unique presence. Your kind words! Your exceptional gesture! Your ever giving heart! How can I forget!? On the eve of my wedding, you gave me your precious ornament and asked me to guard it with jealousy. You said it was a precious gift, handed down to you by your mother, my grandmother. As I lay on my bed now, I watch it as it flows from side to side above my standing mirror. This is sure one thing that gives me hope because it reminds me of your unrivaled virtue, yet my heart is a far cry from what my eyes conceive. More often than not, I think life has bee

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU WORKED ON YOUR BLOG? Written by E PLUS The Storyteller. At the beginning of this year, I had a direction to be more deliberate about my choices. As far as I know, E PLUS The Storyteller is culminating into a brand beyond the box. Indeed, I'm grateful for humble beginnings, and pray to remain humble, because I'm aware that HUMILITY IS THE HALL MARK OF GREATNESS! So, I have been reflecting on so many things, one of which is E PLUS The Storyteller Blog( ejiroemenikeuka.blogspot.com ).   In as much as I write for other blogs(and get paid), I realise that it's pretty easy to stray away from one's base, and just focus on one direction. However, you get to also discover that there is a thin line between being focused and balancing what is necessary so that at the end of the day you don't lose your way home. And this brings me to the question, as a blogger who writes for other blogs, WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU WORKED ON YOUR PERSONAL BLOG?

THE ENEMY'S KISS. Written by E PLUS The Storyteller. She danced around him like her life depended on it She had all the right moves and her words were like droplets of honey  Her eyes meandered desperately, seeking for his attention Amidst the subtlety, and finesse,  Her body language was louder than the talking drum Her hands ran through his locks like velvet, the feel of every touch was very reassuring. " Come with me my love!" She whispered in  his ears " Let me show you what time it is ..." She echoed. And like a baby, yearning for succour He followed, without any iota of mistrust She had won his heart 💓 And learnt every heart trick there was There, the sheets were filled with roses The fragrance of the room, so inviting As she put on a soft music She laid down effortlessly,  And her stare kept calling him He fell into her arms like a lost sheep At the break of dawn All became clear The kiss of the enemy   had sold him for a token Leaving him with a heart
