CHIEF EZE HAS DONE IT AGAIN (Abomination!)... A Story by E PLUS The Storyteller. Yesterday, I returned from the shop very late, in fact I was so tired that I slept off, leaving the akpu and okazi soup my wife had prepared for me, unattended to. Anyway, that is how I woke up today o! And I heard the news as early as 6.30am. You won't believe what my wife told me! Chai! Do you know that, our village has been sold! Aru!(Abomination). How did it all happen? According to my wife, news have it that, some ladies from the city came into the village with a proposal to build new houses and construct new roads. They said that they were from International Organisation. The Igwe welcomed them with opened arms, and after some months of projections, they made the Igwe to sign a contract that would help execute these projects. Everything was going according to plan, when Chief Eze approached the ladies, and asked them to give him audience. In no time, he had convinced them that he could

WHEN STORY TALKS IN MANY WAYS… By E PLUS The Storyteller. I actually had a different title for this discourse; however I chose to settle with the above title that was suggested by C.O.D, one of the youngest members of E PLUS The Storyteller Creative Children Club, (who also doubles as one of the admins, a visual graphic artist, Storyteller, and producer.) particularly because it best describes and captures the narrative. Whatever your answer is, there is an underlining narrative that plays out in every story, either subtly or overtly, and that is the need for your story to be visible from every angle of discourse, hence making your story holistic and accessible. When a story talks in many ways, it moves from a straight jacket narrative to an open-minded discourse; a story can be viewe

WHO ARE MY FRIENDS?... A Story by E PLUS The Storyteller. It's 2.00am, and I'm on this bed, restless, agitated and quite unsettled. The events over the week, has got me pondering.. Who are my friends? Like, really! Tarebi, is quite unassuming, yet fierce, and undoubtedly cantakorous. She has alot going on for her, yet she sees me as her biggest competition! Can you imagine? I have tried many times, to debunk that perception, but she still insist. Toke, is just a pain in the neck! "Give me this! Give me that!" That's all she's all about- always demanding, never giving, and to think I sacrifice so much just to keep her as a friend.. hmmm Rabi, madam 'chop money'. The first time I met Rabi, she cut across like a very selfless person, little did I know that she was a far cry! Rabi's intention for friendship is not without a price, little wonder, she can't keep any man! And to think, she is with me because of my rich uncle

HE STOLE HER PRIDE.. . written by E PLUS The Storyteller. She was quite young, adventurous and full of life. Apart from having a very charming smile, she was the life of the park, little wonder she was the toast of so many young men, particularly in her neighborhood. However, this was a major concern for her parents. “Where are you coming from, by this time? With an angry tone, her father asked, one Saturday evening. “Dad, I just attended my friend’s birthday party, the one I mentioned to you last week.” She replied. “Okay? But I don’t remember giving my approval.” Her father replied. “…but, Dad it’s just within the neighborhood.” She insisted. “Well that doesn’t still rule out the fact that I did not give my approval.” Her Dad maintained. “Okay, I’m sorry Dad.” She apologized. “Hmm...Ensure, this doesn’t happen again.” Her father instructed. “Okay, Dad.” She replied. Two weeks after, she told her Dad about a special event, organized by a youth forum to award outstan
