Is it not your phone that is ringing like that?" He asked curiously. Abigail, immediately cut the call. "em..It's just my alarm! Chief. Let's  go inside." Abigail said hurriedly. As they entered the House, Chief literally flung himself on couch and placed both legs on the centre table.  "So, I want to eat pounded Yam and Egusi!" Chief exclaimed. Abigail stared at him as he made such a request at such short notice. "..Ah! Chief, there is nothing in the house o!" Abigail lamented, almost irritated. Chief dipped his hand in his pocket and brought out an envelope. "Oya! Take, go and buy everything you need. You know, I don't joke with 'round about', 'Shaky' and Kpomo! Few seconds later, she realized, that she had been right. It was Chief! He stepped out of the car. Abigail wondered why he had not called her before getting to the house. Chief noticed she was standing just outside. " Abigail baby, how are you ? This one that you are looking at me like this, are you not happy to see me?" He said cheerfully. Abigail, snapped out of her long stare immediately. "em..not that at all..I did not hear you driving in, that's why I'm quite surprised." "Anyway, I was hoping we could do lunch at the same restaurant we bumped into each other the last time?" Dele asked. Abigail paused and took a deep breath. She wasn't so sure of Dele's request, however she thought it wasn't such a bad idea considering the last reception she had at the restaurant. "So, what do you say?" Dele asked anxiously. "Okay..I don't mind." Abigail replied. "Then I'll pick you up by 1.00pm." A cheerful Dele responded. ******************* Maybe, this was just one way Abigail could ease off her stress even if it's just for a couple of hours!
