Well, the following days seem to get tougher and tougher as the police began in search of me. Hmmm..I was declared: 'Wanted'! Yea, I know, bad News, right? So I was stuck with Kunle(my ex)..very weird situation, you may say. The entire time, I just keep to myself and stayed within the confinement of my room. I couldn't afford to be careless. I decided to listen to some inspiring music while I laid on the bed. Of course some of my favorite songs easily came to my mind; the likes of Helen Baylor and Fred Hammond. I was so engrossed that I did not hear my phone ring...

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
