Then, I just realized that I was still in possession of the 'lost wristwatch' so I hurried back to my counter. In few minutes time, the man walked up to my counter with a very broad smile. "Please, I would love to find out about a missing wristwatch" He said. Quickly, I felt I was very close to solving my mystery thus I decided to play safe. “Why do they keep using these words on us ?” Maxwell lamented as he and his sister coiled up in the corner of their room, feeling downcast. “They don’t even care about our feelings,” Angela, Maxwell’s sister, added. _________________________ Words are seeds—good or bad. So the question is: what kind of seeds are you planting, especially in the lives of your children or wards? Let’s look at it this way: the daily nurturing of a seed goes a long way in determining the state of its growth—whether healthy or unhealthy. Every time you speak negative words to a child, you plant negativity in that child, and their entire state of mind is affected. Likewise, when you speak positive words to a child, it yields a positive impact and boosts confidence. While it is true that moments of provocation may arise, it is equally important to process our thoughts before they become words. This requires intentionality.
