Onome looked at the clock on the wall and observed the time, it was already past midnight. She knew it was quite late, particularly for any form of noise. She decided to pacify her mother.
 "Mama, e don do. No cry again, you hear?" She said as she patted her mother's back. Meanwhile, her brother kept on grumbling as he washed his clothes in the bathroom.
 Onome resorted to the situation at hand and was quite aware that it was impossible to tell her parents anything, that night.
