It was the voice of her parents. They were at it again. They were like that most times when they had misunderstanding.
 Sometimes it could last for minutes and then hours. Other times, neighbors would intervene and for Onome, that was the most embarrassing part.
 Onome just stood still for a moment and continued listening to the argument. She wondered for a while if her brothers were around.
 'Why wouldn't they at least calm things down' She pondered. She was the last child and there was an extent she could interfere.
