Onome's mother just kept sobbing. Several hours later, one of the Doctors walked up to Onome's parents. "Please sir, can I see you in my office?" He beckoned on Onome's Dad, emphatically. "Noo! na two of us you go see oo. Na me be the mama so you must see two of us😙" Onome's mother reacted. The Doctor was a bit stunned and starred at her for a while. He noticed she was visibly angry with her husband so he succumbed to her request. "Okay madam you can come along with your husband but you must promise me that you will be calm oo" The Doctor said. "No wahala, make we dey go." Onome's mother replied even before the Doctor could finish her last word.

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks.
