Onome in the company of her friends were on their way home and they all chatted.
 "Ehn ehn, Onome na wa for you oo..you no come tell us wetin principal call you for" Ochuko teased.
 "That's true oo" Deborah added.
 Feeling reluctant, Onome just smiled.
 "Ah han! Onome! You've started again, just tell us nau, stop hiding things!" Adesuwa exclaimed. After much teasing by her friends, Onome spilled the beans.
 "Okay..okay, it is just an invitation for a school symposium" She said casually. The girls starred at each other with amazement.
  "Really!? Which school" Ochuko asked curiously.
 "Great college" She replied.
 "Great College!?", They all screamed.

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
