            THE PRESIDENT'S SON (Part 1)

"Make una run ooo....dem dun dey come eh!" A sudden outcry filled the atmosphere, and there was pandemonium in the entire market square. It was only a matter of seconds that all the traders had fled.

    A group of aggravated youths appeared in the market square with placards, while chanting.

  "We no go gree o! We no go gree! Give us our right, we no gree!" The chant persisted as each of the youths began to destroy stalls and wares while turning tables and chairs, upside down.

Somewhere in the state house were frantic calls almost bursting through the air. The Chairman of Kolobri community, Warebi, quickly picked up the phone and answered.

   "Good morning Mr. President,"

  "Good morning Honourable  Warebi, what's going on with your community? I thought we already settled the youths," The president lamented. Looking quite puzzled,  Honourable Warebi cleared his throat in an attempt to remain calm, and then he replied, "Mr. President, I assure you everything is under control. It will be taken care of,"

     "Hmmm...better! Whatever you need to do, act fast before things get out of hand, this is not looking good for us, okay?" The president said.

"Okay sir, " Honourable Warebi reassured, and the call ended.

  Suddenly becoming uncomfortable, Honourable Warebi sweated profusely as he pondered what next. Just then his notice alarm rang; he leaned forward to receive the call 

     "Yes," 

     "Honourable, I  just got a report that the youths' uproar has escalated, and looks like they are heading for the state house," The secretary said.

   "Okay...em...you know what? I am coming out now," Honourable Warebi said as he headed out.
