 Finally, Abigail and her Mother arrived at their destination. 
"eh -ehen! Na the place be this." Abigail's Mother pointed at a white gate and they walked towards the building. It appeared like it was locked. "Mami, are you sure, this is the place?" Abigail asked as she pushed the gate to ascertain.
 Her mother stood still for a while and looked at the place keenly. "Hmmm...Na here! I dey very sure." Abigail's Mother reiterated. After knocking at the gate for several minutes, Abigail and her Mother soon realized, the Hospital which appeared more like a Clinic had closed for the Day!
 "I thought medical centres ran their services round the clock!" Abigail lamented as she sighed heavily. "Mami, I don't think these people are genuine o!" Abigail said. 
"eh -ehen! but dem give us paper make we hold nau!." Said Abigail's Mother and as Abigail sort to inquire further from her Mother, a young man walked up to them. "Good day." He greeted.More frustrated than relieved, Abigail reluctantly replied. "Good day." While her Mother starred at the young Man curiously. "Are you looking for someone?" The young man asked. After a brief silence, Abigail replied. "Yes, we want to see the Doctor in this clinic." Abigail replied, even more reluctantly. "Okay...they just moved to their new place days back." The young Man replied. Abigail became anxious. 
"So where is their new site?" She asked.
 "Well, you will have to walk down seven junctions away from here." He replied. 
"Seven what!?" Abigail screamed.

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
