"Chief, but I thought we have been through this your request before?"Abigail lamented.
"Eh -hen! That's exactly why I'm bringing it up! You have not told me what I want to hear o!" Chief responded.
Abigail became restless.
"Look Abigail Baby! These things are not hard at all..just one! that's all I want from you o! that's all o!" Chief added.
"Hmmm...Chief, I'm I still getting the money? then we will talk about this later?" Abigail said.
Chief remained silent for some time.
Suddenly, Abigail's phone rang.
Reluctantly, she received the call.
"Hello!...yes! Abigail speaking...oh! Yes..I'm fine..and you?...Really? You're by the gate?..hmm..okay...I'll be out in a moment." Abigail said and dropped the call.
"So..who is that?" Chief asked curiously.😎
Abigail hesitated.
"em...it's the Doctor in charge of my Father's treatment." Abigail said.
"Eh -hen? What does he want?" Chief queried.
"I really don't know, let me find out." Abigail said as she stepped out of the House.
Few minutes later, Abigail walked in with Dele.
Chief looked at him curiously.
           "Good Day sir." Dele greeted.
                "Well-done o!" Chief quickly answered.

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird. The bird’s fluffy feathers gently ruffles, and his sad eyes stare at mine. ’13 YEARS OLD’ the sign on the cage says.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
