At this point Abigail was almost fed up with the entire journey. "Mami, this place is just too far. I think we should look for another Hospital.
"Hmmm..my pikin..dat one go hard ooo." Abigail's Mother exclaimed. Abigail was puzzled over her mother's assertion. "Mama, why did you say so?" Abigail asked. "The place na the only place where dem dey treat pile well well." Her Mother replied. Abigail pondered for a while as she took a deep breath. The thought of walking down seven junctions dampened Abigail's enthusiasm to find the Hospital her Mother was referring to. Then they sighted a 'Keke Napep.' just parked by a small building. "Mama, maybe we can ask if that 'Keke is going our way." Abigail suggested. They walked up to the building and stood behind the 'Keke Napep.' it appeared it was an abandoned vehicle because it was dusty and full of cobwebs. Abigail sighed as she and Mother were disappointed. Then they heard a car horn from behind." Going my Way?" Someone said.
Abigail and her mum saw a brand New Taxi and jumped into it. For Abigail, this was such a relief. And as they closed the Doors, the Taxi Driver looked at them through the front Mirror and Abigail noticed. Just then, she remembered they were yet to direct the Driver. "Oh! Please take us down this lane and we shall indicate where we are heading. "Madam! Your Money na two thousand oh!!" The Driver said. "Okay, no problem, let's just begin to head on." Abigail said as she was quite confident that she had the money given to her by Chief and that would take care of any expense at that moment.
 Then, the Driver moved the car.

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
