The School Bell rang and it was time for everyone to disperse.
 Onome's friends were heading for home and as usual were in each other's company safe for Sandra, who was slightly ahead of others.
 She had become upset because the other girls had reprimanded her for her action. On the other hand, she saw nothing wrong in visiting Onome's brother to profer a solution, after all, it was for her good! She maintained her pace so that the other girls found it difficult to catch up.
  "Sandra! Sandra! Wait nau!" Adesuwa called out but Sandra turned a deaf ear. She continued walking.
 "Do you think we were too hard on her?" Ochuko asked the others.
No one responded immediately until Peres spoke up.
 "Well, I really think we were unnecessarily harsh! What's wrong with what she did see?" She queries. The other girls exchanged glances. From their response, it appeared they were sobber.
 As they continued to walk along the pathway, branching at a junction, suddenly, Sandra's leg hit a big stone and she tumble over.
  "Sandra!!!" The other girls exclaimed, running towards her.

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird. The bird’s fluffy feathers gently ruffles, and his sad eyes stare at mine. ’13 YEARS OLD’ the sign on the cage says.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks.
