It was a very cosy morning. The sun had risen and it's rays slightly tilted towards the window while the early Birds chorused loud enough to wake everyone in the neighbourhood. The Doctor had woken up and he was still trying to stand up from the bed when he observed a slight movement in his head. He massaged his shoulders, simultaneously shaking his head to shove off the pain, rather it increased. He decided to take some pain killers. Slowly he stretched towards the drawer and got himself some pills.
 Quickly, he popped them in and rested for a while. Few minutes later, he felt better, only this time he had become very hungry. Soon, he remembered the girl who was fast asleep in the living room. She had insisted sleeping in the living room rather than the next room. 
 Getting over the pain, he decided to check on th her.  He went to the living  room and could not find her. This time, he dreaded a repeat of the last incidence thus he rushed towards the balcony but still  met the intact.
He pondered for a while over where she could be. Then suddenly, he heard footsteps and he turned  to see her in a fitted purple Dress. She looked different from what he had gotten use to.  Carrying a tray of food, she smiled and worked gracefully to the dining table, gently placing the tray down.
She turned to him. "Food is served." She said, still smiling.

      That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks.
