   The Doctor starred at the girl for a while, wondering what could be responsible for her countenance.
  "Why are you crying?" He asked as he drew close to her. She responded by shaking her head.
 "I believe there is something you want to tell me." The Doctor pressed on. There was momentary silence. Patiently, The Doctor waited, still no response. 
However, he knew he had to be more patient considering her present state.
 "So will you like to shower?" He asked suddenly. Then with what appeared like a stormy rush!
 The girl ran out of the living room and locked herself in one of the rooms! Alarmed! The Doctor was short of words.

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
