The entire city was buzzing with news of the arrival of President Dapo Makinde. Every activity had come to a halt as anticipation heightened.
Before long, sirens filled the atmosphere, with convoys trailing every nook and cranny of the streets as they led the president to the official inauguration of a state-of-the-art gallery. The who’s who and crème de la crème were all in attendance—each one trying to take the spotlight. Senators, legislators, business executives, entertainment personalities, and other notable individuals graced the occasion in style.
The president took to the podium and began addressing the crowd as everyone paid close attention.
“It’s a pleasure to be here today, especially as we all get to witness the inauguration of a long-time project that has set the tone for more opportunities in the creative sector. This speaks volumes of the government’s commitment and dedication to fostering growth and empowerment across all sectors,” the president stated. His words were followed by resounding applause and cheers from the crowd.
“Kudos to everyone who played a part in the successful execution of this laudable project, and a big congratulations to all of us. I officially declare this gallery open!” President Dapo Makinde exclaimed.
Almost immediately, a voice from behind echoed, “Give us our share!!!”
Everyone panicked as the security officers sprang into action and seized a young man they had identified as the intruder.
The story continues...
