            BEAUTY FOR ASHES!
 The entire Kolobiri had gone into pandemonium over the latest development in the community.
 Those who had not heard previously received news from their neighbors and they had all rushed out to join the chanting crowd. 
      "We no go gree o! We no go gree! Carry your load dey go! We no go gree!" They shouted persistently while the truck drivers made several attempts to pacify them.
 "Listen! Listen! Wait! Wait!" One of the men exclaimed as he beckoned on everyone to calm down rather the chants intensified. Admidst the cious, another group of youths emerged.
 They were all dressed uniformly and were led by another youth.
 Forcefully, they advanced with some planks in their hands and met the truck drivers.
 "Na wetin dey happen for here!?" They lamented. The truck drivers hesitated for a while.
 "Una no won talk abi? For our own villa again(speaking with a local accent)" The leader asked.
  Meanwhile, the people of Kolobiri had become more agitatated, this time increasing their protest.
 "We no go gree o!,We no go gree!" They all chorused.

      That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks.
