Ochuko had found himself in a dilemma. His mother had collapsed from exhaustion and had been poured some water few times, yet no response. He panicked while the police officers tried to stabilize her.
"Bring the energizer nau!!" One of them shouted while others ran for the medical team. Ochuko watched on and prayed quietly that nothing happens to his mother, besides he had not even informed his siblings about her state. He had deliberately prevented them from visiting, promising that their mother will be out soon.
"Officer, what is happening to my mother nau?" He asked pensively.They gave no response as they continued with their attempts to revive her. Shortly, a medical personnel stepped in.  She moved close to Onome's mother while others stepped aside.
Opening her bag, she brought out some of her medical items and began her examination.
As she placed the stethoscope on her body, her countenance dropped and slowly, she shook her head! Ochuko became more anxious.

      That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
