As the footsteps sounded closer, the inspector with the bag quickly threw it on the floor and covered it with his feet. After a while, two young lads appeared before the inspectors and they looked like they were searching for something. Without noticing the police, one of the boys rushed towards a cracked wall, slowly he leaned against the wall and pointed towards the ground.
  "This na where I see the thing na!" He exclaimed, beckoning on the other boy. The second boy joined him and stared keenly at the position.
   "You sure say na here?" He asked.
       "Ah han! Yes nau!" The first boy replied emphatically. They both stood still and pondered.
   "Na wa oo! Na wa come take this money na! ehn!?" The second guy lamented. Quietly, the two policemen watched keenly.

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks.
