BEAUTY FOR ASHES!
"It was a very long day at the police station. Ochuko had become more worries over his mother's detention. He only wished he could convince the police to release her but they all seemed not to bulge.
" Sir, my mother is innocent oo!" He cried.
"See, all that one way you dey talk na grammar, why your mama go keep quiet since wey your papa and your sister disappear?" One of the junior police man queried.
"Ochuko remained silent while his mother, by this time had become slightly weak.
Maybe if he hasn't gone to the police, his mother wouldn't be in they're predicament she found herselfherself" Ochuko thought.
"So, when will you be releasing her?" Ochuko asked the police mam who was busy writing.
"Well, I don't know ooo! All we know is that we need real evidence to be convinced that your mother is innocent, otherwise, she remains our prime suspect." The police man answered.
TmRight there, Ochuko knew they had a tall call. How else was one to prove his or her innocence over a crime he or she knew nothing about? Ochuko wondered. It then dawned on him that he had to take drastic measures to get his mother out of the mess!
"Mama, just hold on while I go home to bring your food, at least you have to eat something." Ochuko said.
"I no want food oo! Na just to commit for here I want oo!" She said. Ochuko observed that his mother was loosing her strength.
