The girls stared at him with disbelief. "Okay, you girls don't believe me abi?" Moses exclaimed.
The girls ignored him and continued attending to Sandra who was still in pains.
"Sandra, please just bear, we need to just stop this bleeding, okay?" Ochuko said as she continued cleaning the wound. Feeling ignored Moses began to walk away, then suddenly he stopped like he remembered something.
"So, have you girls heard anything from Onome?" He asked.
"Listen Moses, the police are on the matter.if you need more information, you can ask them, okay?" Ochuko replied.
"Oh well, it's just that there are lots of rumor making the rounds still." He added,  keen on the subject.
"OK? What kind of rumor?" Peres asked curiously.
"That her mother arranged for her to be kidnapped." Moses replied.
"Moses!!" The girls chorused.

Onome's mother was rushed to the emergency centre of the Police Teaching hospital. Meanwhile, Ochuko waited outside pacing on the corridor restlessly.
Each time he saw a  Doctor outside the ward, he quickly ran to ask about his mother's state.
"Relax young man, we are attending to her. She will be fine, okay?" One of the Doctors replied and immediately walked away.
Ochuko could hear the noise of machines and operators from the ward and he wondered if all that was being used for his mother. He continued pacing then suddenly, he saw his siblings approaching!
" Ochuko!!! Na here you Dey abi?" Kevwe lamented.

      That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
