Mrs. B: Interesting!
Mrs. C: Ah! See my life! And I am here, struggling to keep my home. Even the little I do is not appreciated 😥
Mrs. A: My sister! Even the cost of their wedding was covered by her husband, singlehandedly! So you can imagine, it's been from one bliss to the other!
Mrs. B: Hmmmm!
Mrs. C: Na wa o! She is really lucky! How I wish I had met that kind of man before this my husband came into my life🙄
(Suddenly, Mrs. A begins to stare at her phone. Mrs. B and Mrs. C exchange glances, and are quite curious.)
Mrs. B: Is there a problem? Why are you staring at your phone like that?
(Mrs. A looks distraught, she looks at the women, and shakes her head in dismay😥)
Mrs. A: See! This is the woman I have been telling you about! She is the one! Oh my gosh!
(Mrs. B and Mrs. C takes a look at the picture on Mrs. A's phone, and the headline reads: WOMAN STABBED FOR CONFRONTING HER HUSBAND, NOW IN CRITICAL CONDITION)
Mrs. C: Ah! This is serious o! How did this happen? What happened nau! At least that's one good thing about my husband, he allows me to say my mind ooo! How can you stab your wife, just because she is expressing herself? Na wa o!
Mrs. B: Wonders shall never end!
Mrs A: I can't believe this! Ahan! But.. She was in a good place with her husband nau! How did he turn out to be such a beast after all the beautiful stories his wife told me about him! Ah!
(Silence follows, as all three women continue to stare at the picture.)

What a pathetic story! It's amazing how a once, peaceful union, can switch from bliss to terror, over night! Not all that glitter is gold, indeed. While all may look so picture perfect, you never get to hear all sides of the story.
However, what counts is how you are able to manage that situation. Marriage is beautiful when both parties can communicate without reservations. Openess is key. At what expense are you tolerating all the excesses?
As couples if we are willing to work things out...the picture of impossibility will fade away! There would be no 'time bomb, waiting to explode!'
As partners, you should be able to talk things, over. It's not only good, but also healthy.
Take advantage of every opportunity to talk, mutually. A spouse who provides everything, but takes away your freedom to express yourself, is simply a 'Slave Rider'.
So before you make that hasty decision, before you conclude, before the wedding bells, go through your check list, and see what checks out!
Look, before you leap. The worth of any marriage is not measured in monetary terms, afterall what's the point, if your self worth is taken away?

Oat is a common cereal but can be tweaked a little to be uncommon when presenting as breakfast, very healthy and has a great impact on our skin after all. Addition of coconut flakes is to make it more filling, and also serve as milk because coconut contains a very reasonable amount of healthy milk so you can go for fresh coconut flakes instead of the slightly roasted one I have there. I have there also freshly sliced banana to naturally sweeten the whole bowl of cereal. Although,that's optional for.
