"So what did your Landlord tell you?"He asked curiously.
 Abigail paused briefly, like she was trying hard to remember. Then, it just dawned on her that Chief might not have heard her the first time.
 "So, Chief you were not listening!?" Abigail exclaimed angrily.
"Oya! Don't be angry jare! I just wanted to understand what you were saying? So you said your Landlord has evicted you?" Chief reiterated. Abigail just stared at him without any response. She wondered where Chief was going with his 'carefree' attitude. Then He cleared his throat resoundingly.
"em.. Abigail baby! You don't have to worry again O!" Chief stated emphatically. This time around, Abigail thought Chief was drunk. She had expected more consolation from him than what he was putting up. "Chief, are you serious with what you've just said? I should not worry?" Abigail exclaimed. Chief looked surprisingly at Abigail. "Yes nau! I said you should not worry because...
 "I am the one that bought this whole house plus the other ones!" Chief said. Abigail just froze!

That evening, Abigail sat in her apartment gazing at the photocopy of the document Chief handed over to her. It contained the signed agreement of purchase between him and her former Landlord which confirmed Chief as the New owner of the House! Chief had given her options over the situation, Abigail wasn't so sure if she could make up her mind!
