STEPPING OUT OF DEPRESSION.. By E PLUS The Storyteller . She walked into the room, her gaze, looking quite distant. She managed to take a seat, and her gaze was constantly oblivious. The waitress couldn't help but notice her gesture, as she began to soliloquize amidst intermittent laughter. Quite concerned, the waitress headed towards her, to find out what the matter was. "Hello Ma'am, good day." The Waitress greeted. The lady turned around, and fixed her gaze on the waitress, and without saying a word, burst into tears. "Oh! So sorry! Is it something I said?" The waitress asked, as she panicked. "I gave it my all, after so many years of selfless sacrifice, toiling and so much commitment! What have I done to deserve such cruelty! He just called off the relationship." The lady said amidst tears. For a moment, the waitress stared at her, and she had flash backs of how she had become depressed from a similar situation....

Every time I have to get rid of you, my heart skips out of anxiety because I remember your years of utmost commitment and dedication in the food department.  At times I wonder if I would ever find any replacement; certainly not! Who else can fry the way you do? With such precision and perfection, who else can deliver the way you do? Your type is hard to find. Oh! My old Frying pan! Old, but not worn out! Old! But not weak! Old! But still very useful! Not even a thousand modern Frying pans, can ever outshine you. The Story, we must tell. By E PLUS The Storyteller. First, I heard mummy and daddy talking about it, then I heard the neighbors, and now I see it on T.V.  Lives are being wasted, all in the name of RACISM, the streets are crowded with angry people, people who are angry at the system, families are broken, dreams are being shattered, people are distraught. How many deaths do we need to see before we can actually destroy this monster, called: RACISM? The ripple effect of a dysfunctional system cannot be undermined, and worst hit are always the children. Every child has a dream, expectations, goals and ambition, and the passion to pursue this, consistently can only be fueled by the desire to end this constant war! Is it too much to ask, that our lives be regarded? Is it too much to ask, that we are not treated, like trash? Is it too much to ask, that we shouldn't be judged by the colour of our skin? Let's take a step backward, pause and ponder, let...

Thus it has become expedient to understand the narrative that plays out in a society where the culture of reading is hardly visible, and then this question easily comes to mind:  Is The library, Gone?   How much of these physical Libraries do we see nowadays, or can it be safe to say that they have been replaced by the digital trend? Answers to these questions will actually give closure to the genuine concerns being registered. On this special edition of MEET...

You might just see, clearer! ✓Keep in touch with reality, but never allow your illusion to becloud your sense of reasoning. ✓Be a critical thinker, a constructive one! ✓Don't be that person you will eventually be ashamed of. ✓Be accomodating, a receptive mind is the door way to opportunities, it might just be closer than you think. ✓Remember, your creative potentials can only be undermined by you, when you give others the permission. ✓Add two and two together in every analysis you make, while you still give others a chance to say their own side of the story, you never know, you might find something, valuable. ✓Creativity distinguishes you from the crowd, don't be afraid to explore. ✓You are your number one fan, don't wait for the crowd to cherr you up before you try. ✓A Creative mind is never afraid of exp...

Breaking The Ice in Creative Writing... ( By E PLUS The Storyteller.) Creative Writing is an ongoing discourse, everyday of our lives. We see it, we feel it, we consume it; yet we don't give it the necessary attention that it deserves, particularly as it concerns our children. Every child has a voice expressed differently, through various mediums, and Creative Writing is one of them. Subtly, we are fast building a wall between these children and their potentials based on our 'Selfish' intentions, actually we want our children to live our dream rather than theirs. When a child tells his or her story, that child invariably creates a narrative that is unique to him/her! Creativity is idiosyncratic. The ice is broken, and there is a new dawn. Over time, the story evolves, and the child breaks forth into his/her brand. Help your child to develop creatively, don't hush that child. Be more accommodating, and help your child through the creative Writing process ...
