The officer stood quite confused before his Boss. He couldn't make much from what he had just said.
"Yes! It is people like you that give the Government a bad name! Why would you encourage your sister to build house on a Government property?" He exclaimed.
"Sir, she has all her papers oo..these papers were still given to her by the same Government." The officer lamented.😠
The Police Boss had a stern look on.
" So, is that why you are now saying we should release someone who is a suspect?" He asked further.
"Sir, I'm only just suggesting that we let her go, seeing that there is no viable evidence against her and she, going through a lot right now." The officer emphasized.
'Hmmm...officer! No viable evidence, right? Are you people not suppose to find the evidence? and I can see you are already giving up on this case, right? Maybe I should transfer you immediately!." The Police Boss exclaimed.
"Sorry sir!" The officer apologized.
Just then, there was Coptic noise outside.
"I say Move!! I say Move!" A voice said.
"Oga, take am easy now!" Another replied as the noise drew closer.
The police Boss stood alert as he waited patiently to see those entering into the station.
"You! Go and find out what is happening!" He ordered the officer who was still with him.
"Yes sir!" The officer responded as he headed  out.

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird. The bird’s fluffy feathers gently ruffles, and his sad eyes stare at mine. ’13 YEARS OLD’ the sign on the cage says.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
