          Mama Kenute waited patiently for Ochuko's response. On the other hand, he avoided her desperate eyes, searching in his head what to say.
      "She go soon come, we just won complete something." He finally responded. For a moment, Mama Kemute remained silence like she was trying had to take in Ochuko's response. "Okay ooo...if na wetin you talk, no Wahala." She said with dismissal. Ochuko was quite relieved at this point.
       "Abeg, I come take that change wey you dey owe me, I won use am buy something." Ochuko added before she returned inside.
    "Your change? Your other brother don come collect am na.." Mama Kemute replied, appearing quite surprised. In turn, Ochuko was taken aback. He wondered which of his brothers she was referring to.
            "Okay ma. Thank you." He replied as he turned to leave.
          "Help me greet your mama ooo...tell her say the money wey she keep with me still dey ooo!" Mama Kemute said as she locked the Door behind.
  "Money!?" Ochuko said to himself. "Which Money!?" He pondered.

"Sandra! Why are you talking to yoursel?" Sandra's mum enquired, looking quite disturbed at Sandra's disposure. Quickly, realizing that it was just only a dream, she sat up and wiped off the spittle from her cheek. "Mummy, good afternoon." She greeted.
             "You look quite ruffled?" Her more pushed further.
    "Mum, I hurt my feet and it's really painful." Sandra said, drawing her mum's attention to her present condition. Her mother took a quick look at the feet.
      "Oh well, let me put some water on fire and we will be treating it that way." She said as she headed for the Kitchen. Sandra began to panic at the mention of 'hot water.
 Apparently, her mum was set to use the traditional approach yet Sandra did not have the heart for it. "Mummy, i had a dream" She said as she tried to distract her, hoping it would work.
        "Hmmm😠....really?" Her mother replied.

      That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
