Her mother moved forward and stared at her for a while. "Young woman, I know I said anything after six I won't return today but I don't remember you telling me you would be out by this time." Sandra's mother said sternly. Sandra fidgeted and cleared her throat several times like she was attempting to spit out something. "Are you okay?" Her mum quickly asked as she became more concerned this time.
"Not really mum, I need to to use the bathroom." Sandra said as she scratched her back. Her mother remained quiet for a while.."Okay, hurry dow, still I demand an explanation." Her mum replied.
" Okay Mum." Said Sandra as she couldn't wait to excuse herself. Quickly she headed for the Door, then suddenly, the paper she held fell to the Floor.

Mr Efetobor stared at his wife and could hardly speak for a while. He appeared exhausted and shaken yet he knew he had missed his Family.
"Mama Onome, na me be dis oo! Na somebody tell me say you for Police Station and as I come go police Station, na im dem bring me come here. How you Dey na?" Mr Efetobor said as he drew close to his wife, holding her by the hands.
Onome's Mother shook her head as she used the edge of her wrapper to wipe off tears from her eyes.
"Hmmm... Papa Onome, you dey ask how I dey? No be small tin oo..See me na! Na station we still dey go." She said soberly.
Again, Mr Efetobor was short of Words.
"So na wetin happen wey dem come do you like dis?" He asked.
"Hmmm...Dem say my hand dey for you and Onome wey dey miss." Onome's mother said.
"Miss? Onome Dey Miss!!!?" Mr Efetobor Lamented.

By now the two inspectors had just left Chief's House and were heading back to the station. Their meeting with Chief had gone well and it was quite a brief one. Apparently, he had been expecting them. Chief had received the message sent by The Police Boss.
As they continued walking along the road. The First Inspector suddenly stopped like he had remembered something.
"Eh hen...how far na!?" He asked.
The second Inspector stared at him curiously.😦
"How far? As how?" He asked.
"Ah han! The money na! The money we found at the investigation site?" The First Inspector emphasized.
The second Inspector laughed for a while.
"Ohh..that? Not to worry..Hun? It's safely at the Bank." He said.
"At the Bank? Which Bank abeg?..what of my own share nau?" Exclaimed the First Inspector.

The police Boss sat in his office and was going through various files. Suddenly an officer hurriedly stepped into the office.
"Sir! There is information!" He said as he saluted. Returning the salute, the Police Boss stared at him through his thick Lens.
"So..what's the information?" He asked .
"Yes sir..we have authentic information that the missing girl's Father just surfaced. The Police Boss slowly stood up like he had just seen a ghost!

Onome's mother broke down again just as her husband mentioned Onome's name.
"Please sir, we will all be going to the station now and further details will be made available." One of the policemen with them said as he beckoned on everyone to move.
It was virtually thirty minutes long Drive to the Station and everyone was exhausted particularly Mr Efetobor. As they got to the Police Station, Onome's Mother was moved over to another unit.
"Na where una dey carry my mama go again nau?" Kevwe Lamented but there was no response.
While waiting endlessly for some feed back, another police man returned.
"Are you Mr Efetobor?" He asked.
Mr Efetobor looked at him cluelessly.
"Yes na me." He replied.
"Okay...our Boss would like to see you."
The Police said.
