The Police Boss Paid close attention to the officer.
"Sir, I think we should let that woman go because thus far there seem to be no evidence against her, besides sir, her house is on the verge of being destroyed, coupled with her missing daughter and husband. Now her present condition...Sir, I really think we should consider this case." The officer pleaded.
                       The Police Boss was quiet for a while, he appeared like he was pondering on something.
 "Did you say that her house is on the verge of being destroyed?" He asked keenly. The officer nodded hi  head emphatically.
  "Yes sir." He replied.
   "Really!? and how do you know this?" He asked.
    "Sir, the other day her son brought the News here, I exclaimed because my sister has a small self contain there." The officer responded as his countenance changed dramatically.
      "So, you confirmed his story?" The Boss continued.
        "Yes sir. It's true, the Government is about taking over kolobiri community." The officer reiterated. The Police Boss starred at the officer for few seconds.
   "Officer, it is people like you that give the Government a bad name!" He exclaimed. The officer readjusted himself, looking confused at his Boss' statement.

      That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks.
