The Doctor said to Ochuko who was by now a bit relieved about the News. However Ochuko was taken aback by the sudden request of his mother. She had been all worried about the latest development of their community which had resulted to her present condition and rather than seeking for some urgent solution, there she was asking for a buffet? What was there to understand? Ochuko reflected. Moreover, his siblings seem to be clueless as to what next to do.
Ochuko just stood still like a log of wood, oblivious of his siblings for a second.
"Ochuko! So how e go be nah!?" Kevwe asked curiously.
"Make we go find the parole for mama nah! abi?' Oshare added.
"Okay, na how much you sell today?" Ochuko enquired.
Quickly, Oshare deeped his right hand into his pocket and brought out some notes and counted them.
"E be like say na two thousand dey here oo!." Oshare exclaimed.

The sounds of cutlery striking against the plate was quite loud enough that anyone outside could have guessed. The Doctor had taken the very last bite and he closed his eyes in concentration, enjoying every bit of it.
The girl smiled as she watched him. "So...you can cook?" The Doctor said, amazed. She nodded her head in response, still smiling.
"Wow! So what did you put in this food that really made it so tasty? because I haven't had this kind of meal in a long time?" He asked curiously.  The girl chuckled for a for a moment and she pointed towards the kitchen.
"Okay? It's in the kitchen right?" He said. She nodded again.
"Really? I never knew I had such a powerful ingredient. Can I take a look?" The Doctor requested. 
She led him to the kitchen and then brought out a plastic from one of the cupboards.
The Doctor looked at carefully and immediately recognized the content and then he fainted.

      That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks.
