SISI EKO!
Being given an option, Abigail would have avoided her mother's question, however she knew her mother was not one to be ignored easily and just when she tactically attempted to change the topic, a car advanced towards their direction. Quickly, Abigail and her mother gave way while car was pulled over. For some few seconds, they waited patiently to cross to the other side then, the back window of the car was wind down.
"Abigail!" A Voice Called out!
Abigail soon realized it was Chief!
Quickly, she pulled her mother away to another side of the road.
"Mami, I will be right back. Please wait here, okay?" Abigail whispered.
As she walked towards Chief, her mother watched on.
Abigail got into the car and sat down.
"Eh..hen!? Abigail baby! So you do not want to call me again, abi?" Chief lamented.
"Noooo! Chief! It's not like that. I have been busy. So sorry." Abigail replied soberly.
Chief smiled.
"So, when did you return from Ajagbandi?" Chief inquired cautiously.
"em.....Today.." Abigail replied.
"I see.." Chief responded.
Then Abigail had a frown on and chief noticed it.
"Abigail Baby..Dis one dat your face is like dis..is there any problem?" Chief asked anxiously.
