📁 Officer Dudu entered his office and quickly shot the Door behind. He leaned in front of his desk and soloquized. He could still hear the protest of the youths of Kolobiri outside the station. By now, he was caught in between very difficult situations.

Gently, he brought out the two notes in his pocket given to him by the police Boss and inspector Jay respectively.
Now, he read the contents with undivided attention.
  Inspector Jay's note read: ,
"you need to find inspector Mash! Then you'll find out more!". Officer Dudu heaved a sigh and pondered on the last sentence. He sensed there was a crucial case on ground.
He perceived a sense of urgency in the tone of the note. Then, he opened the other note written by the Police Boss which stated:
Let the Efetobors go! Release them before things get out of hand.
At this point, Officer Dudu perceived there was more to the demand of the Police Boss than meet the eyes!
However, he still wanted to stir the waters further and ultimately use every situation to his advantage.
The youths of Kolobiri also wanted Kevwe freed, thus officer Dudu felt it was quite timely.
He weighed his options to decide on the premise of the Police Boss's demand or to go with his instinct.

Officer Dudu wanted more time to unravel the puzzle surrounding the request of the Police Boss and inspector Jay.
The resilient youths of Kolobiri had become very impatient!
Officer Dudu picked up the phone and dialed a number. After few seconds, there was no response, he tried few more times, still no response. Immediately, officer Dudu headed for the protocol department.
"Has anyone heard from inspector Mash yet?" He asked the protocol officer. He checked through the file and then looked up.
"No sir! The attendance here signifies that he hasn't been to work for some days now." replied the protocol officer.
"Hmmm..really? I tried calling him now but there's no response." Officer Dudu said.
 Suddenly, another Policeman rushed in.
"Sir! The youths have started destroying our properties! Do we shoot!?" He exclaimed anxiously.
Everyone at the reception was biwildered by the sudden outburst of the youths at the Police Station. Some of them held on to the wooden frame of the windows, while others hit the roofs with their fist. Sandra his behind her mother while Mama Kemute hid behind the counter as the other men who had come along with them attempted to stop the youths from breaking through.
Mama Onome could only pray that there be some peace and tranquillity. She could hear the voice of Kevwe responding to the chants of the youths, as well as the other members of his family at the other side.
Soon, she saw officer Dudu, accompanied by other policemen. He had rushed out to see the sudden development!
As he stood in front of the crowd, he soon noticed that the crowd was out of control.

However, he was mindful of the delicate nature of the situation thus took precautionary measures in handling it.
"Sir, we cannot just watch these youths like this! We must act!" One of the Policemen with him lamented.
Officer Dudu stared at the crowd and turned to the Policemen.
    "Release the Efetobors!" He said.

The girls paid close attention as Ochuko flipped open each page. They wanted to ascertain the name on it.

"Wait, a page just fell out now!" Adesuwa exclaimed as a page fell to the ground.

"Chief, the work men are really protesting oo!" The chief inspector lamented.
"Really? Have you not explained to the situation of things to them?" Chief responded angrily.
"Chief, I have ooo..but they will have none of that. Infact they are demanding for the promise made to them last week." The chief inspector added.
Chief kept quiet for a while, pondering on what next to do.
"What do you suggest now?" He asked the Chief inspector.
"Chief, I suggest we ignore them, they will reconsider. It's just a matter of time." He replied.
"I see. You think so? ..okay then! Ensure you take charge. I need to take care of some things here." Chief said.
"Okay Chief. No problem." The Chief inspector replied as he headed out.
He stepped out and stood in front of the agitated work men and as soon as they saw him, the noise faded out.
They were all attentive and anxiously waited for the chief inspector to speak.
