                        CHAPTER 3.
                         Talk-Talk!
Abigail woke up with a nagging headache and pains. Feeling quite feverish, she sat on her bed. She placed her hands on her body and felt  slight warmth. Then she sighed and stretched forth to pick up the table calendar. "What's today's date sef?" She looked at the date. "Ah! No wonder, I have been feeling blotted!" She exclaimed. It was that time of the Month and Abigail was one of those with very 'heavy flow.' She looked at the mirror and soon realized that she had added more pounds of flesh and she sighed, feeling frustrated. Abigail felt very unattractive. At some point, she adjusted her clothes to see if they still looked good on her. Then, her phone rang. Sluggishly, she received the call. "Hello!...Ah! Chief..good day..yes...I'm fine oo... OK...where? You're heading for my house?...no..no..Chief...I'm not at home o!...Please!..I'm at Ajagbandi in my aunt's house...yes Chief!..No! don't worry, ti ba ti de, ma pe yin, so gbo!(When I return, I will call you, you hear?)..Okay Chief..bye!" Abigail finished speaking and ended the call.
There was a knock at the Door. "Yes! Who's there?" She answered. "Abigail, it's me ooo..Tessy! Please open." Tessy said. Abigail opened the door and Tessy came in. *Ah han babe! How far? You still dey sleep?" Tessy said as she flung her bag on Abigail's bag. "No Jare! I'm just feeling funny." Abigail complained. "Hmmm..too much enjoyment nau!" Tessy teased as she opened the fridge. "Abigail, no food?" Tessy yelled. "Ah! I'm so sorry, I'm having a bad day here..it's that time of the month and abeg..I no fit shout oo!" Abigail said. "Eyaaa! Lele(sorry.)..I heard if you place ice on your stomach, you will be fine." Tessy suggested. "Really?..I will try it oo!" Abigail exclaimed. Tessy took a cup of lemonade and began to sip. Then it looked like she remembered something. "Eh..hen! Abigail what happened yesterday!? Why were you acting so cold to that guy!?" Tessy said. Abigail tried to recall. "Which guy!?" She asked.
