 "Come o! Na who be dat?" Abigail's mother asked, referring to Chief .
Abigail  became quite uneasy. "em..Mami..that's one of my contractors." Abigail replied as she managed to put her words together. "Eh..ehn! e be like say Na better person, abi?" Abigail's Mother said.
 Then Abigail took another look at her mother as she wondered why she had such an impression of Chief. "Mami, why did you say that?" She asked, still curious. 
Her mother grinned. 
"I see when him give you money nau! Abi you think say I no see una?" Abigail's mother stated emphatically and Abigail just feigned ignorance as they continued walking. 
Finally, they had boarded a Bus close to the Junction. 
"How much is your fare.?" Abigail asked the conductor as he was Still  calling on other passengers, he  replied. "Your money na One- Fifty o!" Abigail and her mother entered and soon the Bus was filled up. "Make una hold una change o! I no get change o!"
 The conductor shouted and  the Bus conductor began to collect his money, another passenger behind lamented. Conductor, abeg this back seat too tight o! Make you come check am nau!" He yelled out but the conductor ignored him and soon the passenger stood up and held on to the conductor's singlet. "No be you I dey talk to!?" The man yelled out again, this time with a forceful gesture. The Driver turned to see the situation and then when it appeared like it was beginning to run out of control, he pulled over the Bus!
 "What's happening nau!?" Abigail asked.
