This time, Onome just realized that there was no room for playing dumb. She had to come up with something real fast. Her eyes quickly caught the bowl of corn at the corner, they were not looking the same. Onome panicked but managed to utter some words. "Mama, na some people dey fight for road." Onome said😁 "Hmmmmm..so you come join dem abi?" Her mother interrupted. Onome shook her head. "Dem carry plenty knife dey pursue people so I come say make I wait small make the fight come down." Onome said with a shaky tone. Her mother starred at her for a moment.😳

      That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks.
