"So what do we do?" Said another voice. The man who had examined the girl on the floor, hesitated for a while. Then, what appeared like a swift response, the man carried her in his arms and walked through the starring crowd.
 "Na where him dey carry am go sef? Someone whispered.
 " Maybe e dey carry her go hospital! You know see how the girl dey look? She no fit even talk." Another voice replied..
 Slowly but steadily, the man got to his car and attempted opening the door when some people from the crowd confronted him.
 "Sir, where are you taking her to?" The first man asked curiously.
 "Somewhere she can get proper care." The man with the girl replied.
 "Haba! Oga, you no fit just carry her go like that oo!" The second man with a very husky voice lamented.😱

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
