A young boy was spotted playing football. Onome's mother drew closer..She sought to inquire about her daughter earnestly.
  "Abeg my pikin, no vex oo, we dey look for somebody, tell am na! You just stand dey look!" Onome's mother shouted anxiously at Ochuko.
 "Abeg, call Sandra." Ochuko please with the young boy.
 "Okay." The young boy responded and ran in quickly. Almost immediately, Sandra came outside.
 "Good afternoon ma." She greeted with a surprise tone. Sandra recognized Onome's mother and she wondered why she was at her house.

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
