Everyone in the office could not help noticing her countenance
"Mrs Laye, good morning, you are late." The proprietress said with a definite tone.
 Mrs Laye tried to compose herself despite the obvious panting.
 "Ma, I'm so sorry!" She exclaimed as she gesticulated dramatically.
 "So what happened?" Mrs Etarere inquired.
 "Hmmm..wonders shall never end o! That's how we found somebody near the gutter! Just lying helpless!" Mrs Laye exclaimed.
Everyone in the office exchanged glances.
 "So, was the person rescued?" Mrs Etarere asked anxiously.
 "Hmmm..after she was unable to respond or react to any question posed, she was taken for help by one good Samaritan!?" Mrs Laye continued.
"So, she could not identify anybody?" The proprietress asked further.
 "For where!? She was just moping!though the crowd was so much, I could hardly see her face, I managed to get a view of her back. She was all covered with mud."
 Mrs Laye exclaimed. Then she turned to Onome's mother.
  "Madam, Good morning o..I hope you're fine, I guess you are Onome's mother, right?" Mrs Laye said.
 Onome's mother painful heaved another sigh.
 "Em..Mrs Laye, Onome is missing." Mrs Etarere announced.
 "What!" Mrs Laye exclaimed😱

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
