Janet had slept off after a very long conversation with the president; he stood and watched her sleep for a while before he left her room. The next day, Janet woke up with a start at the constant beeping of her phone; she rolled over and reached out to receive the call.
"Good morning." She greeted.
"Ah ahn! Janet! Why na? You got me worried. I have been trying to reach you." Rebecca lamented. Immediately Janet sat up, on realising that the caller was her sister.
"Abeg, sis no vex... dat yesterday ehn... everything just started off so fast." Janet explained.
"Eh ehn! Are you serious?" Rebecca exclaimed.
"Sis, hmmmm... It still all appears like a dream, I dey tell you." Janet continued.
"But where you dey, now?" Rebecca asked anxiously.
"If I tell you that I'm at the Presidential lodge, will you believe?" Janet said. Rebecca remained quiet for a moment as she tried to make sense from her sister's statement.
"Wait o! You say?" She echoed.
"I say if I tell you that I'm at the Presidential lodge, will you believe me?" Janet repeated.
"It's a lie!" Rebecca responded.
"Dey dere na! Dey play! Your sister is at the Presidential lodge o! And not only that...I am officially going to be working with Mr. President." Janet reiterated.
"Wow!!! See as I dey dance for here! See my sister ooo...ah ahn! So JAY-JAY connection strong like dis? Dis one na final na!" Rebecca exclaimed.
"Yes ooo!!! Everything just looks like a dream." Janet said.
"So, when are you coming home?" Rebecca asked.
"Well, that would depend on a lot of factors." Janet said.
"What do you mean?" Rebecca asked.

"Awa!" Oga Bello called out!
"Sir!" She answered as she emerged from her room.
"What are you doing?" Oga Bello enquired.
"Baba, I'm reading for my exams." Awa replied.
Oga Bello paused for a moment and stared at his daughter.
"Which exam?" He probed further.
"Baba...for my JAMB exams." Awa replied, and almost immediately, Oga Bello burst out, into laughter. Awa remained rooted in one spot as she watched her father laugh, hysterically.
Wait! You mean you really want to go to the university?" Oga Bello exclaimed.
"I don't understand, Baba." Awa said, quite alarmed by her father's question.
"Okay...I guess we need to have a one on one chat so you can save yourself the energy of all these reading that you have been engaging yourself in." Oga Bello said.
"Baba...I still don't get it oo!" Awa persisted.
"Don't worry, Okay? You will get it..there's no problem" Oga Bello responded as he sipped his kunu from his favorite king size cup while Awa looked on.

"Honestly speaking Asabe, I don't understand Baba... imagine how confused he left me this morning with his hysterical gesture." Awa lamented.
"Are you serious? over what, if I may ask?" Asabe reacted.
"Over me reading and preparing for my JAMB exams! Hmmm...you should have seen the look on his face!" Awa said.
"Ahn ahn! But what did he say?' Asabe probed further.
