THE PRESIDENT'S SIDE CHICK(4) Written by E PLUS The Storyteller ✍🏿


 "You naw need to fear....just relax, I will be back." Jay-Jay said. He headed out of the reception, and in few minutes, he returned.


 "Let's go." He said.


  Janet stood up and followed behind. While they walked, Janet noticed that the pathways were quite masked with darker  shades of light. She could also perceive aroma of barbecue as they got closer. Jay-Jay stopped, and turned around.


"So, you are about to meet him, just maintain. Be yourself and most importantly, losen up." Jay-Jay advised.


"Okay." Janet responded, as she adjusted her gown for the upteenth time. Immediately the door was opened, they entered a large room with same interiors as that of the reception. Janet sighted a huge dark man, dressed in grey overall, and then she thought his face looked familiar. She looked more keenly, this time with close attention. "Good morning sir." Janet greeted. The man smiled while assessing her.


"Jay-Jay, you try o! Dis one fine well, well!" He said.


"Thank you Presido." Jay-Jay responded as he smiled. Then it dawned on Janet that she was in the presence of the President!

   

 "Your excellency!" She exclaimed. Jay-Jay beckoned on her to keep calm.

 

   "I look different, right?" The President said as he sipped a glass of wine. "Em...yes sir...no sir...em....what I mean is that...the lights in the room are not so revealing so I guess..."

  

   "Well not to worry... it's one of those things. What's your name?" The President interjected. "I am Janet, sir."

    

"Hmmm... Janet.." The President repeated as he pondered over the name.


"Yes, your excellency. Janet Powell." Janet added.


"Hmmm...Not bad. Can you drive?" The President asked.


"No...your excellency." Janet replied nervously.


"You will learn how to drive. Can you learn under two weeks?" The President asked.


"Em....yes sir...I can try." Janet replied.


"Good." The President responded. A long silence followed while the President moved towards Janet. He smiled at her, and then said,


      "Can you give me a massage?"

My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined.
