"Jay-Jay dun enter town o! Infact, Jay-Jay is a very big boy now. You need to see his designer's outfit." Janet continued.
"Are you serious? Like, how nau? Which time him comot from prison? Shebi it was suppose to be life imprisonment?" Rebecca exclaimed.
"Ah! Dey there na! Person wey dun dey work for presidency." Janet emphasised.
"I don't understand..."
"Let me tell you...see...JAY-JAY no be person wey dem fit just troway like dat for prison. All those pronouncement made, were just for public show, they got it all planned out. JAY-JAY has too much lead on the presidency, so they know better. His going to jail, was just a temporal arrangement." Janet interjected,
Rebecca pondered over Janet's explanation and shook her head in disbelief. "Na wa o!" she exclaimed.
"Na soooo!" Janet reechoed.
"But....what has all this got to do with the goat in the house, and the wine that you're just gulping?" Rebecca persisted.
"You still dun get it...hmmm.. When JAY-JAY saw me, and we got all excited, he took me out to one of the choicest eatery in town, and that was where he said he would introduce me to some important dignitaries so that I can secure a very solid position. Then he gave me money to take care of myself for the time being, and then another money to get the goat in preparation of paying homage to my prospective boss when we meet." Janet explained further.
"Ah ahn! This is interesting ooo!!! Janet, are you sure about this? You know that JAY-JAY is someone to be careful of." Rebecca lamented.
"Leave that one sis, JAY-JAY know road...make we dey follow who know road..he knows what he is doing, he is highly connected. This is our chance to eat the national cake." Janet said.
"Hmmm...Okay ooo...so when is he fixing the meeting?" Rebecca asked
"Tuesday, next week." Janet replied.
"Ah! Same day of your interview with that new company?" Rebecca exclaimed.
"Wait...is it?" Janet said, as she paused for a moment and glanced through the calender.
