TEAM WORK AND CREATIVITY. (AN INVALUABLE POTENTIAL FOR GROWTH).

"Mummy! Mummy! Come and See Dee." My First child, Day, cried out, one afternoon, I was trying to take a nap. So, I turned around to see what was going on. I noticed that Dee was trying to help Day to fix a puzzle, but Day would have none of that. He continued to fuss, and repeatedly said:
"I don't need your help, I can do it myself!"
So, after watching for a while, I had to intervene. I called the attention of Dee and Day, and after further probing, I found out that I had to teach these young ones, the importance of TEAM WORK 🙂
And this is the focus of Today's Session:
TEAM WORK, AND CREATIVITY
(AN INVALUABLE POTENTIAL FOR GROWTH)
When you find yourself in a space or network of people, chances are: you are most likely to experience different points of view, expressions, perceptions, and orientation. There is no guarantee that you can completely CONTROL PEOPLE AND THEIR MINDSET, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE ADULTS OR MATURED ENOUGH TO KNOW WHAT THEY WANT; EVEN ADOLPH HITLER COULD NOT CONTROL PEOPLE, FOREVER!
So, I would like to say at this point that rather than form a monopoly of knowledge, and isolation from the rest of the world, develop a sense of reception and accommodation by giving a listening ear to those who have ideas to share, or help to render(at least start from there), because you never know where the GOLDMINE lies🤷
It might just take one idea that you consider 'Foolish' to turn the table around. THERE IS STRENGTH IN DIVERSITY, and BEAUTY IN VARIETIES.
NO MAN IS AN ISLAND! LET'S BREAK THE STEREOTYPE OF NA-ONLY-ME-MUST-SHINE MENTALITY..
TOGETHER! WE ARE STRONGER..
IT'S EASIER TO MOVE FORWARD, UNITED!
In Team Work, results are focus-driven, rather than competition driven(especially as the competition becomes quite unhealthy, and more of a rivalry)
In Team Work, your standards become more solid in terms of perception, and orientation, everyone becomes responsible, and approaches work with utmost sense of commitment, and dedication.
In Team Work, team members look out for one another without any form of bias. Creative potentials are well harnessed, and maximised to the advantage of one another.
In Team Work, external invasion becomes almost impossible, even when they are hiccups, it becomes easier to tackle because of the strength in unity, and the formidable centre that has been established over time.
Team work also breaks stereotype owing to the diverse inputs of every team member.
It has become expedient to teach even the young ones the invaluable potentials of team work, going forward as this would help strike a balance in a multifacial system, where unhealthy rivalry has become the order of the day. Everyone needs to appreciate their God-given potential, and celebrate it, unapologetically without shading anyone. If you are a Writer, define your style, and network with others, at least to appreciate other dimensions. Same as the painter, the teacher, the driver, the make up artist, the musician, the shoe maker, the trader, the footballer, the Doctor, the comedian, the blogger, the YouTuber, the Storyteller, e.t.c
Don't be scared to listen, or learn from others (So long it's not harmful)
Feel free to ask questions (Warri say: Person wey dey ask question, no dey miss road😄)
THERE IS NO PERFECT SYSTEM, WITHOUT IT'S CHALLENGING STORIES
THERE IS NO CHAMPION WITHOUT TRIALS
IT'S OKAY TO MAKE MISTAKES (Provided they are genuine👍)
LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES, AND THE MISTAKES OF OTHER TEAM MEMBERS, AND FORGE AHEAD.
Celebrate your victories.
Research topic(s) of interest from credible sources.
Guide your mind(Not everything is allowed in your mind, remember the mind is a delicate space!)
Know when to sieve information.
Be a reliable friend (Remember, there is a life beyond protocols)
Be open minded ( Don't take things personally) If you no longer feel comfortable in a space, walk away! Yes! Walk away, especially when God says so! You will always know, trust me.🙂
Never relent from sharing ideas, too.
