"Mr. President, the meeting is set, and everyone awaits your arrival,” the president’s PA announced as soon as she stepped into the president’s office.
“Hmmm… give me some more time. I will be with everyone shortly,” President Dapo Makinde responded.
“Okay, sir,” the PA said and left.
Frantic calls erupted in the president’s office as he remained still, watching the different phone lines light up. Just then, Demola’s number began to blink on the dashboard. He moved forward and picked up the call.
“How are you, son?” President Dapo Makinde asked.
“Yes, Dad. I just arrived,” Demola replied.
“Great! Head straight to the villa,” President Dapo Makinde instructed.
“The villa?” Demola paused.
“Yes, son—the villa. We’ll talk when you get here,” President Dapo Makinde reiterated.
“Hmmm… okay, Dad,” Demola said, and headed off.

“Yes ooo!!!” the entire youth chorused.
“So moving forward, we the youths of Kolobri go join hands with youths of other surrounding communities to storm the state house. This time, no joke!!!” Ebinabo declared.
“Yes ooo!!!” the youths exclaimed.
“Kolobri youths!!!” Ebinabo called.
“We move!!!” the youths responded, as they began to chant and dance rhythmically.

“Dad… แบธ kรกร รกrแป̀ (Good morning),” Demola greeted.
“แบธ kรกร รกrแป̀, แปmแป mi (Good morning, my son),” President Dapo Makinde replied.
“Looks like there’s an emergency,” Demola said.
“Son, it’s time,” President Dapo Makinde said in a serious tone.
Demola paused and looked at his father for a moment. Feeling uncertain, he gasped softly and slowly moved closer.
“Dad… what is it?” he asked gently.
