The hair on my back is standing still as  I can see the red alert from the news Felix just broke to me.
"Ah! Felix, tell me you are joking!" I  continue to question the authenticity of the breaking news.

"No one jokes with such news nau!" Felix replies me instantly.

   This is no longer funny oo.. I am beginning to reconsider my plan.. yes o! If I have to change from becoming  The 'Other Woman' to
'Mrs Permanent', definitely it won't be on an empty account!
  Hmmm ! This parole just taya me sef. I think I will just pass..

"So how far?" Felix begins to enquire. I guess, he still thinks with the breaking news he just shared, I will still get down with him..see dis one, he still doesn't know he took a one way ticket out of our transaction.. hahahaha..I just dey laff. Abeg make I wear my shoe well well.

"em.. just give me a second, let me pick up some toiletries at the store outside, I just realised I forgot to pick some from the house." I just manage to reply.

"Okay, please don't stay long, you know I need you more, tonight..I could do with some consolation. At least let me just calm my head before I think of the way forward." Felix replies. 

 I head out of the room with my bag firmly close to my side. Finally! I'm out and out for good!

It's been virtually a week now, since I left Felix and it sure feels awkward.. I guess at some point in my life, I was actually feeling contended with becoming 'The Other Woman'... Well looking back now, it appears I might just have no other option.. hmmm..Abi wetin person go do?

      That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out.
