The only crime wey I commit be say I try to be my brother's keeper o! See me see gbege! Shey to say I know, I for put my eye and mouth for my corner? Ah! I dun suffer! No be small tin.

Una doh o! I dun show again o! Yes! Na me, madam aproco! So, last week Saturday, I say make I cruise small, make I spoil myself with small snacks and drinks for one eatery like dat (I no go mention their name because Dem no pay me for advert, anybody wey want make me, madam aproco dey mention dier brand for my gist, make  dem dey pay!) So, as I siddon dey cruise my Meat pie and Chapman, na im I see dis woman and man enter the eatery, I com look the woman well well, she be like person wey I know we'll well. Make e no be like say my eye dey deceive me, na in I look her well we'll again, dis time I dun dey sure say na one of my neighbour wife! Ah! 

Come see how dis man(wey no be her husband) just dey touch her for different different places! Abomination!

I no fit take am again, na hin I just stand up, go meet dem for where dem dey.

"Onyeka! Na wetin you tink say you dey do? Why you dey let anoda man dey touch you like dis?" Na so I shout for her head.

  Everybody cun dey look me. Instead of dis yeye woman to shame, una know wetin dis woman do? Na so she deny me o! She just dey look me like say she no know me.


"Darling, who is dis?" The man wey she follow come, dey ask her.

"Honestly baby, I'm shocked! This is the mad woman that I told you about in my area, that's how she goes about causing confusion." My neighbour, Onyeka reply the man. If you see how I cun dey shake! 

  Me, madam aproco! Mad woman!

Before I fit even reply, na so security people throw way me for outside! Chai! Dem no even let me finish my meat pie and Chapman! Na so everybody start to snap me picture, dey post for Instagram, dey call me mad woman!

As I dey like dis now, I just dey tink of my life because dis world, e deep!

Anyway, make I recover first, next time I go bring una anoda gist. My name na madam aproco, one and only. Dem naw reach! God pass all of dem.

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks.
