"I"LL CALL YOU, LATER"         . .. By E PLUS The Storyteller. So, it's that moment where you are actually in a good place with your wife, and she is so excited, because she finally gets to be all alone with you, after weeks of busy engagements. "Darling, I really miss you!" Your wife says. "I do, too!" You exclaim, then suddenly your phone begins to buzz. The vibration filters through and, your wife has noticed. "Honey, who is that?" She ask, quite curiously. Then your heart begins to bear like an unending rhythm. "em..em.. it's from...the office!" You respond, as you manage to throw in a line.  "Eh...ehn? Shebi you are suppose to be on leave?" Your wife probes. Then, you break out in sweat, and you feel like disappearing because you just realise that your wife isn't buying your lies. "Hmmm.. yes.. actually..as a matter of fact..I..I..." "Well, just tell them that you are busy, or ju...

TEAM WORK AND CREATIVITY. (AN INVALUABLE POTENTIAL FOR GROWTH). Written by E PLUS The Storyteller. " Mummy! Mummy! Come and See Dee." My First child, Day, cried out, one afternoon, I was trying to take a nap. So, I turned around to see what was going on. I noticed that Dee was trying to help Day to fix a puzzle, but Day would have none of that. He continued to fuss, and repeatedly said: "I don't need your help, I can do it myself!"  So, after watching for a while, I had to intervene. I called the attention of Dee, and Day, and after further interrogation, I found out that I had to teach these young ones, the importance of TEAM WORK 🙂 And this is the focus of Today's Session: TEAM WORK, AND CREATIVITY (AN INVALUABLE POTENTIAL FOR GROWTH ) When you find yourself in a space or network of people, chances are: you are most likely to experience different points of view, expressions, perceptions, and orientation. There is no guarantee that you can completely CO...

The Day I met the Lecturer Who.. .. Written by E PLUS The Storyteller. "Open the door! Open the door!" The voice from within the office, echoed.    Hesitantly, I pushed the door and entered the office of the Lecturer who had been giving me countless messages to come, and see him for some updates about my missing scripts. For a very long time, my scripts had been missing, and it was quite strange that there was no explanation from my class rep, until he informed me that the lecturer in question wanted to have a word with me. "What for?" I asked. "See dis one o! What for Ke? Are you not the one that has been disturbing me about your missing scripts? Now, the lecturer wants to see you, you are asking me, what for? You are funny sha, I no go lie!" My Class Rep exclaimed. Maybe she had misunderstood my question, because it was born, more out of concern owing to the lecturer's reputation in the school. Everyone had an idea of what he was capable of(especi...

YOUR HEALTH MATTERS.                   PERSONAL HYGIENE. She was so restless because she was feeling quite itchy. The rest of the passengers continued to stare at her, curiously. After a while, one of the passengers moved closer. "Young lady, what's really, the matter? You seem restless." The woman asked. "I don't know ooo! This itching is too much." The lady responded. "Hmmm...are you allegic to anything in particular?" The woman asked further. "Not sure... This is kind of strange to me.. I'm just itching all over." The lady cried out. "Okay, if you have time, you can come along with me to the clinic, I'm a nurse and I can quickly run a test on you." The woman proposed. The lady thought about it for a while, then agreed. Few minutes later, they were at the clinic, and the woman ran a test on the lady. Waiting patiently at the reception, the lady hoped it was nothing serious. The Nurse r...

Mr Bami, my Landlord lamented from downstairs. Immediately, I asked members of my Prayer Team to excuse me for some seconds, while I handle the situation.  "Oga Landlord sorry nau, we are not shouting, It's just prayer." I explained. "It's just prayer! And you want to burn down the whole compound with your Holy Ghost Fire! Ahan... Ko da nau!( It's not fair). What about those of us that are innocent? How will we escape the fire?" The Landlord continued to lament. At that point, I felt the best thing to do was just to remain silent. "Ehn ehn! So you don't want to answer, abi? You see! At least, you can do your prayer quietly, is it not God that all of us are serving? Jor O! Let's sha take it easy, Se o ti gbo? (Have you heard?)" "Yes si...

I could see the disbelief in Colins' eyes when I asked him for my Plantain Chips, he stared at me for a while, without uttering a word, not that I cared, anyway. Anything just to put an end to this guy's persistent disturbance, was very much welcomed. "Are you for real? I thought you gave me the those plantain chips out of your free will?" Colins exclaimed.  "Well.... not after you looked so helpless 🙄" I snapped. Immediately, this Colins of a guy, burst into laughter. In my head, I was like... "Wetin dey do this one?" "So, I can say that you were carried away by my charming disposition.  By the way, Tope is beautiful name, your pare...

No Leftover...Written by E PLUS The Storyteller.

NO LEFTOVER...           Written by E PLUS The Storyteller. Creative Writing Skills, Visual Art Communication, Blogging, Voiceover, and Storytelling.  Actually, even 'left overs' are raw materials for something new, as far as creativity is concerned, and this explains the quest for innovations. Once you can explore your creative prowess, you will always see beyond 'the now', and look forward to the future. God has enabled everyone with creative prowess, it's all a matter of identifying yours. 'Left overs' have the potentials to be transformed into something 'New'. I remember, growing up, my mum(God bless her soul), would walk into the kitchen, and smile at the over ripe plantain, when one would have expected her to panic! "This plantain will be good for 'Masa'!" She would say. That is how I  learnt how to make masa from left over plantain, to be candid, it happens to be one of...
