 "Pakolo, e be like say dat your Laraba girl dun dey grow wings o!" Maka Lamented.

"Ah! Maka Don, make you no vex...I go talk to her." Pakolo responded.

"No... Leave am...no need. Eh..ehn...wetin you dey yarn? Say yawa dun gas?" Maka probed.

"Yes o! Piro dun get information from the president camp, and this information fit scatter everywhere." Pakolo exclaimed. Maka remained silent for a moment as he pondered over Pakolo"s words.


"The information go scatter everywhere! Oya! Talk nau!" Maka insisted.


"Piro say make we meet for Hala's Hangout, say na dere him go tell us everytin." Pakolo said.


"Hmmm... Dis kind information must make sense oo.. because time naw dey at all. We suppose dun strike dis piple, taytay." Make said.


"Maka Don! From the way him talk I sure say the information go make sense." Pakolo ensured.


"Oya na...make we dey go!" Maka Don said and they both left the hotel room.

"What do you mean by 'Dis one go hard o?' If you have an important information for us, then spill! It's the president that we are talking about here, for goodness sake!" Benard, the minister of information, said.


"Em... Able Minister, dat one no be problem, I go talk but you remember say the last time we talk for phone, you talk say you go increase our money but since then, you neva shake body." Julius lamented.


"Oh! Is this what this is all about?" Benard exclaimed.


"Yes o! You know say dis our work, na risky work. And we dey put all our life for inside." Julius continued.


"Okay! Okay! Fine! I just sent three million naira to you, check your account!" Benard interjected. Immediately, Julius countenance lit up.


"Baba o! Ah! You too much!" He began to hail.


"Okay..okay.. now spill! What's the information that leaked out?" Benard said, as he had become very eager.


"Able Minister, the tin wey I wun tell you now, e get bele o!" Julius whispered.


"Come on! Spill! What is this information?" Benard yelled.

      That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks.
