 "Oga! Abeg no dey follow me! Which kind wahala be dis na?!" Obiageli exclaimed.


"I like you na! Shebi I tell you say I want make you be my girlfriend, abi I naw reach person wey fit get girl friend like you?" Bobby responded.


 Immediately, Obiageli burst into laughter.


"Why you dey laff nau?" Bobby lamented. Obiageli paused for a moment and stared at Bobby in disbelief and pitifully she shook her head.


'" I swear! You no well! See as you open dat your mouth dey talk rubbish! So you see me finish come siddon, come conclude say me I go agree to be your girl friend? Taaa! Get away, you!' Obiageli said, dismally.


"Eh...ehn! Na so, abi? So you dun dey deny me? After I spend my money buy you all those Suya, Roasted Fish, Shawama wey you dey like.



"Abegi! Shut up your mouth! I give you receipt?" Obiageli interjected, and Bobby stared at her in confusion.


"Na wetin you mean by dat?" Bobby asked.


"I say, I give you receipt? Naw be person wey buy correct market, dem dey give receipt? So for your mind nau, na ordinary Suya, Roasted Fish, Shawarma, you buy wey dey make you feel like Obasanjo! Look! You better go find your level because as you see me so.. Obiageli is moving higher..." Obiageli exclaimed as she paced about majestically. 


"Ah! Na so you wun leave me?" Bobby lamented further.


"Biko! Nwoke... Ike gwuru o!( Man, I'm tired o!) I no hold you before. Biko, hapแปฅ m aka (Please, leave me alone)." Obiageli persisted, and before she could complete her sentence, a 2022 BMW 7 Series was parked in front of her and Obiageli walked towards it and paused. The driver stepped out and ushered her in, while Bobby watched. 


"Chai! I dun suffer o! Naw be Felix be dat?" He said, as he raised his hands above his head in despair!

      That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined.
