And the change starts Now!


"I dun tire for dis country!"


"I wun japa, comot for dis country!"


"See, how oda country dey enjoy but Nigeria own na im go different!"


"Abeg, which year dis country go eva better?"


      And the narrative goes on and on...


Change has its ripple effects and it begins with us. How deliberate are we about this positive change that so desire?🤷🏽‍♀️


In our various spaces, constituencies and jurisdiction, what steps are we taking to influence the narrative, positively?🤷🏽‍♀️


While we point accusing fingers, the rest of our fingers should get to work. TALK AND DO should be the narrative playing out in any and every sector.


Your choice(s) of leadership into positions shouldn't be influenced by the 'Short term' largess swindled before you, remember generations unborn can be tied to the decision you take, so choose wisely.


There are great and notable Nigerians who seek our support to lead this nation towards the right direction, it's time we begin to look towards their direction.


 Let's educate and teach our children not to sell their conscience for a _'piece of carrot'_


We have suffered way too long to accommodate or celebrate foolishness.


We need to begin to raise confident children and youths who are not lilied livered to confront issues, when necessary.


 Enough of the whining, dining and deceit


ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!


We cry for the truth...but are we ready for the truth?🤷🏽‍♀️


Or we have become constipated by the 'Carrots' and the 'Cocumbers' and we have become too comfortable to chase after TRUTH?


Let's pause and ponder 🤔

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
